Kenya Teachers Congress on Problem-Posing Education/Inquiry Oriented Education

With the ever changing trends in Education around the world, Education System in Kenya has been rather based on 'Existing Facts, Which students 'must' know and then assessed on a summative basis at the end of 8,or 4,. The Problems in Kenya have remained the same and if any change on how we do things, very little has been experienced. Inquiry Oriented Education also referred to as Problem-Posing Education by Paulo Friere could be a better approach to the challenges Schools and Kenya has today, since it is based on praxis rather than theory. This event will culminate into a talk show for Teachers by Teachers. The Teachers matter.
